There are many fantastic swim schools and clubs out there doing incredible things every day.  We like to think that we’re just like them – passionate, innovative and adaptable to the ever-changing world of swimming.

We also like to think that we’re different from so many out there.  Here’s why.

- We might hire teachers based on their experience as teachers, but we don’t hire them based on their experience as swimmers.  We look at a teacher’s ability to relate to their swimmers, and their aptitude for teaching skills in an understandable way.  We provide extensive ongoing training and workshops so that all of our teachers know their stuff and feel supported in their work environment. 

- We’re constantly researching, questioning and innovating.  We don’t just do things a certain way because someone has told us to, or because it’s always been done that way.  We find out why we’re being told to do it that way, if it really is the best way to do it, and if it can be improved in any way. 

- We’re confident in our knowledge and abilities.  We workshop weekly to discuss and debate the many varied aspects we’re teaching, which keeps us on top of our game and generates a thorough understanding of swimming education so that we can be the best that we can be.

- We nurture a culture of excellence.  This doesn’t mean that we’re only interested in creating Elite swimmers, it means that we’re interested in creating teachers and therefore swimmers with the mindset of being the absolute best that they can be.  If this means being found to be better than others, great – keep working to widen the gap.  If it means being found to be lacking, step back and learn from your adversaries so that you can keep working towards your best.
